The Problem?
Hey, we're not telling! That's the point!
Teams won’t know precisely what the problem entails until they arrive on campus. Teams will be given 48 hours to solve the problem, but they will have access to a wide array of analytical equipment available in Alfred University’s science and engineering laboratories to help them. We will provide student liaisons to help teams find the labs, and there will be teaching assistants available to help teams use the equipment.
The science, math and engineering programs at Alfred University are well-known, and some of our professors are internationally recognized for their research. As a result, the AU laboratories contain some pretty cool stuff, from equipment for ion chromatography to a scanning electron microscope, and mass and infrared spectrometers.
One thing we can promise: The problem won't be the same as in 2006.!!!
