Each student member of the winning team will receive a $500 check, and the sponsoring school will also receive a check for $2,500. Second and third prizes will be awarded as well..

In 2004, (see the results ) Dryden High School and Irondequoit High School tied, and so each team took home a total of $5,000 -- $500 for each of the team members and $2,500 for each school! In 2005 the first prize went to Northwestern Lehigh High School (in Pennsylvania), while in 2006 first prize went to Sacred Heart Academy of Hamden, CT.
