Grain Boundary engineering of electronic ceramics (PTCR thermistors based on semiconducting BaTiO3, alcohol based sensors based on SnO2, I. R. sensing pyroelectric titanates, yttrium-iron garnet, LiZn and MnZn ferrites for high frequency application, Ba2Y1Cu3O7 superconducting ceramics, cordierite ceramic substrates. Use of novel techniques of nanoparticles and sol-gel coating of powders to overcome problems associated with reproducibility and reliability of electronic ceramic devices.
