Glass Science and Technology Minor
A Unique Program
A minor in Glass Science and Technology provides students with a blend of classroom and hands-on laboratory experiences that will enhance the marketability of any student majoring in engineering, physics, or math. No other program in the country offers this opportunity to undergraduates.
Engineers and scientists with the knowledge and understanding of glass and its production are highly sought after by the glass industry and companies who use glass in their processes and products.
Our Graduates
Alfred University Glass Scientists are employed by notable companies and organizations as engineers, researchers, and technologists and many of our graduates attend prestigious graduate schools. No matter what they may choose to do after graduation, students who graduate from Alfred University's engineering programs are well-rounded individuals who understand both the principles and practice of their selected field of study.
Learn more about Careers in Glass Engineering and Science in a brochure developed by the Alfred University Career Development Center.
