Materials Science Minor
Courses
The Materials Science minor is intended for students majoring in engineering or science, but is available to students other types of undergraduate degree at Alfred University. However, it is not available to students majoring in Biomaterials Engineering Science, Ceramic Engineering, Glass Engineering Science because these disciplines are specialized fields within the broad field of Materials Science and Engineering.
The 15-credit minor includes three required courses and six credits of electives. In addition to the courses listed, students must complete the math, science and engineering prerequisites for listed courses.

CEMS 4xx - Any regularly scheduled CEMS courses at 400-level except special topics and Independent Study
